Job Responsibilities
- Customs Documentation: Prepare and process TradeNet permits (In-Bond, Out-Bond, Transshipment, and Duty Payment) for all tobacco movements.
- Inventory Control: Maintain accurate records of duty-unpaid stock within the Licensed Warehouse (LW). Ensure physical stock matches the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Customs' records.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all tobacco products adhere to Singapore’s Point-of-Sale (POS) regulations, including Standardised Packaging (SP) and Graphic Health Warnings (GHW).
- Audit Management: Facilitate and lead periodic stock-takes and surprise inspections conducted by Singapore Customs officers.
- Duty Reconciliation: Coordinate with the Finance department to ensure timely payment of excise duties and GST for goods released into the local market.
- Reporting: Generate and submit monthly stock movement reports and "Statement of Accounts" to regulatory bodies as required under the Customs Act.
Job Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of experience in warehouse administration, specifically within a Bonded/Licensed Warehouse environment in Singapore.
- Industry Knowledge: Prior experience handling "Wet Goods" (Tobacco or Liquor) is highly preferred due to the specific excise complexities involved.
